PostSubject: Guild Rules   Wed Feb 06, 2008 8:52 am

Here are the basic Guild Rules

1) Do not ask or beg for money, if you are new you will be warned BUT this behavior won’t be tolerated and if you continue to ask you will be kicked.

2) IF you believe that you truly do need money for something or another PLEASE ask a guild councilor first. If they agree that the cause is worthy (i.e you need to buy a mount and are a few short, or need money to buy a quest item etc) then they will see about raising funds through the proper channels.

3) We are very tolerant but continual or excessive bad language will see you kicked, as will bigotry or outright racism.

4) Instances - most members are more than willing to help on instances and quests, feel free to ask. If they are busy - do not complain, especially if they are higher levels, most of them ground through it without being run through. Higher levels are here to help but they won't be your "crutch"

5) Professions & Skills - need something from a skill or profession you don't have? Then feel free to ask for help. Guild members may help in lock-picking, herb gathering, leatherworking or more often without cost simply because you are in the guild, though you may need to supply materials if necessary.

6) We realize above all else that you may “not be able to get behind the screen daily”, or for that matter even weekly. As the guild is a mix-match of kids, students, and adults of all ages we have a “no-show” policy of 1 month. This means that if you don’t log on at least once a month you will be kicked from the guild - unless notification is sent to the Guild Leader explaining “why” you may be away longer.

7) Bad Behaviour - This area is a little cloudy on "exacts", so let me be clear, if a guild councillor or the King believes you to be behaving badly we reserve the right to kick you. If you are having a higher level run you and you "need" every item despite the fact that it is not useful for that characters class, or you display other tendanices that preclude you from acting well within a group this may get you kicked. As will continual harrassment of people for help or items. Continual text or verbal harrasment of a particular member that finds it offensive may also see you booted.

Cool We are a fun guild who will poke fun at anything - our humor is warped and twisted.

9) LEECHES, those bloodsucking parasites who drain you of blood, or guild members who continually abuse the guild banking system, will not be appreciated, and will not last long in this guild.

SEEKING: Currently we have an overflow of Leatherworkers, Skinners, Miners and Blacksmiths. The services of anyone looking to do Enchanting, Tailoring, Jewel Crafters, Engineers, Herbalism or Alchemy or are currently highly sought. IF you are a leatherworker and are thinking of changing please consult a guild councilor—the guild may be willing to pay for the new training as it will benefit the guild.

PROFESSIONS & TALENTS: Within WOW it is impossible to “be everything”. But it is possible that your guild may contain all you need. If you need locks picked, items created, items enchanted, items disenchanted. Fellow guild members will do this FOR FREE, though they may require materials to build things (such as armour etc) the construction or service is WITHOUT charge. IF someone tries to charge you for making something or opening something please report them to a Guild Councillor who will see that they are dealt with appropriately. After all the reason you join a guild is to benefit by its service and in turn provide a beneficial service.

GUILD RECRUITMENT: As of the “reforming” of the Guild ANYONE can now recruit a new member to our guild. You will also be able to promote new members up to your own rank. We do not tolerate “teasing” with ranks—please don’t rank up people above their ranks, and please don’t demote people “for fun”. If you demote people “for fun” then you will face penalties or dismissal from the guild. Although we will accept almost anyone we are looking for those with a mind to level and seriously help out—so if there is someone you have ran a few instances with that you think should join then we are after that sort of player!

LEVELLING: We are looking for character who are serious about reaching level 70 (or maybe 80 soon), with their character who join our guild as either their primaries or the “much used alt”, we can’t force you to play - why would we want to. BUT if you are one of these players that shows once a month and who is generally not around to help out much you will find that not much help will be volunteered in your direction. We are looking at serious levelers. 1: So we can run high level instances when we all get there! 2: So we can look at successfully being able to participate in world events 3: So that we can help others level and 4: So that we can have fun - if you are not around much we will not know you as well, and therefore won’t be inclined to drop everything and join you on one thing or another..

PostSubject: GuildAds   Wed Feb 06, 2008 9:10 am

For all members we are strongly recommending that you install the mod "GuildAds" available from www.curse.com

This mod is very useful for in-guild trading and helping.

For instance at a quick view you can see (out of other guild members that are set up on it) who can make or do what with their professions, and who has what reputation with certain factions (incase they can get something you are after that isn't BoP).

This mod is also used as a bartering system . So if you require something you can list it in the ask system, or if you have something you dont mind "advertising" to guild that can be done. For isntance is you need something i.e Runecloth or Mageweave, you can put up an in-guild Ad saying you need Mageweave, or if you are able to make something i.e riding crops you can put an add up saying "willing to make" or similar.

Please note to run this mod you MUST load out of date mods when starting the game or it will not work

PostSubject: Do You Have A Allie Alt?   Wed Feb 06, 2008 9:12 am

IF you have an alliance character on this relm that is looking for a Guild please feel free to Approach the OBSIDIAN ORDER, they are not as flexible as we are, or as entertaining BUT they have their moments.

Feel free to seek out: Phildo, Paleface, Ambo or Mojache.
